The IELTS Preparatory course is to support candidates in understanding what the IELTS examination consists of and focuses on:
- Understand the purpose of the exam
- Build ideas and language skills
- How to attempt the exam most efficiently
The IELTS examination consists of four modules that need to be attempted in order for a candidate to have done the entire test. Each module focuses on different aspects of language to check a candidate’s English Language Proficiency.
This IELTS Preparation Course provides you insight on the different aspects of language to better understand how we as people use language – and how we should be using language. This particular differentiation and skill set supports candidates even after the IELTS Preparation Course comes to an end!
The course includes specific focus on productive modules of the test (Speaking and Writing) and techniques to get most out of the receptive modules (Listening and Reading). Each session will be two (2) hours long with a total of 10 sessions completing a 20-hour IELTS Preparation Course. Extra material at the end of the course will be provided for candidates to continue practicing later too!
Prior to registration on the course, you will need a placement test to check your existing English Language proficiency for the instructor to provide you detailed feedback.
